"SAMSARA" means "reincarnation" in Sanskrit. This work is a spin-off from the "Wind Mandala" series of pinhole photographs. Yasu Suzuka covered most of the coastline of Japan on an 18-year-long journey with his pinhole camera. While shooting, he often picked up castaway objects along coastal areas, and the "connection" he made with these objects inspired this installation work.
